SWIMMING POOL & POOL HOUSE
As a guest of the house you have sole access to the newly constructed swimming pool during the agreed hours. You walk up beside terraced gardens to an elegant slatted large oak door, through a beautiful bath stone loggia, which is the gracious classical style colonnade that fronts the pool house and in to the cloistered walled garden.
Ahead of you is a serene space holding the 10m x 5m porcelain tiled swimming pool, with electric opening safety and thermal cover that keeps everyone out and the heat in, meaning that you can enjoy swimming between May and September, both months included, in water of upwards of 32 degrees. On the South side it opens up with views through the apple trees and over the hedge to the fields and woods beyond. Roses abound and the sun adds to the Mediterranean feel.
The creams and pale grey stone floors lead you in to the pool house, which has a sitting area with electrically operated sliding doors and kitchen space. What you’ll immediately notice is the finish of microcement and marmorite providing a seamless and glowing background to all the rooms. There's moveability and access, simplicity and graciousness. The kitchen has a Quooker tap providing hot, cold, boiling, still and sparkling water and you can sit on the blue rope rocking chairs and sofa. Elegant loungers and tables are placed beside the pool and there are ample umbrellas for shade when needed.
Behind a sliding door, neatly blended in to the back wall of the sitting area, are the changing room with shower, WC, storage and a large steam room with extra shower, when needed. Underfloor heating throughout makes it a perfect place for a stop moment, taking tea, reading a book or hitching up to the internet - the perfect place to be when the sun shines and you feel like you don’t want to stay indoors any longer and you're looking for a space for you to enjoy, unwind and relax.

If you have children with you during your stay we love that you and they can enjoy the swimming pool, the steam room and the surrounding area. This is a private pool and there is no lifeguard. We have walled off the space of the pool and access is through key coded doors. Please remember that it is mandatory that children are supervised at all times when in or around the swimming pool as well as the more extensive grounds. Upper Vobster Farm will not be held responsible should your child have an accident. It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your child and any children that are with you. We hate things going wrong - please help us by ensuring that they don't.
