The side entrance, with adjacent fully equipped utility and cloak room, leads into the heart-warming traditional farmhouse kitchen. With its beautiful blue lias stone floor, hand built units and all important four oven Aga, it’s the place where everyone loves to congregate and plan the day.

Conservatory kitchen diner with bi-fold doors deliquesces the boundaries of the house with the east and south facing garden terraces. This capacious room is perfect for sunlit breakfasts in the heart of winter and transmutes into a decorative alfresco dining room in the summer.
THE SNUG
Cosy Snug with inglenook fire place, corner sofa and warm wool throws, is the perfect place to settle with a good book or gather for a chat while supper is being cooked.
THE DRAWING ROOM
Elegant south facing Drawing Room with open fire and French Doors opening onto the garden terrace provides a restful place to gently muse, watch the fire and listen to music.

In the centre of the house the gracious dual aspect hallway and stairs with its magnificent floor to ceiling window leads you up to the first floor and 4 out of the 5 stunning bedrooms.

Elegant Master Bedroom with en-suite shower room is graced with south and west aspects overlooking the gardens. A beautiful space to dress up in your pearls, silk and lace, or slip into a hot bubble bath before snuggling down for the night in the luxurious super king bed.

Serving the Master Bedroom is the freshly refurbished en-suite Shower Room, with a 1800mm walk in shower and twin basins, which transforms your morning rituals into a simple, luxurious pleasure.
BEDROOM 2
East facing double bedroom with super king and day bed, occupies the oldest part of the house. With fitted wardrobes and a pink, stripy wing back chair, this is the perfect room for those who love waking up to a beautiful sunrise.
BEDROOM 3
Just next door to the exquisite pale limestone bathroom with twin sinks, inset bath and walk in shower, is the delicate Pink Room with dual aspect garden views from north to south. Twin or Super King as desired, this room entices you to surrender into the plump pillows and take some time out to nurture and pamper yourself.
BEDROOM 4
The fresh Blue Room with its gentle north light, cosy bathrobes and easy access to the adjacent bathroom and Steam Room offers a quiet solitude to in which to contemplate the day and soak up the views of the garden. Can be made up with twin beds or as a super king as required.
THE FIFTH BEDROOM
Nestled just below the conservatory dining room is The Dairy with en-suite bathroom. Twin or super king as desired, this spacious annexe with vaulted ceiling and French doors overlooks the Dolphin Courtyard, making it the perfect 5th bedroom.
With the added luxuries of a sofa, table and chairs and space for a single bed or cot, it is perfect for a young family or a couple wanting to be a little more self-contained.
All five bedrooms come with super soft bathrobes, luxury toiletries and towels, garden views and a superb wi-fi connection throughout.
THE GARDENS & POOL
Set into the hillside, Somerset Soul sits graciously in its own landscaped grounds, which over the years have been sculpted into an array of beautifully terraced spaces that celebrate the house’s revitalising Renaissance roots.

The classic planting scheme of roses, lavender and wisteria adorn the property, bringing a timeless magnificence, delicate fragrance and uplifting colour to every vista. Sloping away from the house the lawn leads down to the meadows below and the basin of the valley. Here the path leads past a wildlife pond onto an ancient stone bridge over the brook and heads up the old drover’s way to the ancient woodland beyond.
All the guests to Somerset Soul are welcome to walk around the grounds of Upper Vobster Farm and explore its many delights, which spark the imagination and restores our sense of wonder and love of Mother Nature.
